Oregano Systems will be presenting a SMPTE 2059-2 clock synchronization solution as part of a an SDI over IP demonstrator at the IBC 2014 in Amsterdam. To this end Oregano has joined forces with two leading companies in the broadcasting industry: Macina and Altera providing IP cores and FPGAs respectively. We will show fast and precise clock synchronization over Ethernet enabling SDI over IP data transfer following the SMPTE 2022 standard.
