------------------------------------------------ Syn1588 Windows Driver NDIS 6.5 Beta ------------------------------------------------ This is a beta version of NDIS65 driver for Windows 10 Systems. (Windows 10, related Windows Server and newer Windows versions). This driver supports syn1588 NIC PCIe Rev2.3 with the firmware version 6299 and laters. If it is not recognized while installing , try the driver NDIS63 or update the firmware then install the driver. As it is not yet officially signed, Windows has to be set into test mode and secure-boot has to be turned off. This process is described below. Supported Cards ------------------------ syn1588 PCIe NIC Rev2.3 Firmware Version 6299 or later. To Activate Test Mode --------------------------- 1.Open a Windows command prompt window as admin. 2.call >bcdedit /set testsigning on 3.you can see if testsigning is on by calling >bcdedit ! After activating the test mode, you have to restart the PC. Alternative Method ---------------------------- You can also turn off driver signing enforcement from windows advance start screen. 1.Hold down the Shift key while choosing the “Restart” option in Windows. Your computer will restart with Advanced Options. 2.From the list of options displayed, select the “Troubleshoot” tile. 3.Next, select “Advanced options” and hit the “Startup Settings” tile. 4.Next, select the “Restart” button to restart your PC on the Startup Settings screen. 5.From Startup Settings page choose “Disable driver signature enforcement" To Deactivate Secure-Boot ------------------------------ The following description depends on the BIOS of your PC and may differ slightly: 1.Restart the computer and go in to BIOS Menu 2.Under "Security" or "Boot Options" menu look for secure boot. 3.Turn off secure boot. 4.Save and exit In Case of Further Insallation Issues --------------------------------------- If you have still installation issues after turning off the secure boot and activate the test signing please follow the below steps : 1. Check Hyper-V support and disable if it is not already Search for Hyper-V from the windows search bar. It appears a result "Turn Windows features on and off". Disable Hyper-V from the list. It can be required to restart the PC. 2. Turn off memory integrity in core isolation Search for Core Isolation from Windows search bar. Turn off memory integrity.
