------------------------------------------------ Syn1588 Windows Driver NDIS 6.3 Beta V2.1 ------------------------------------------------ This is a beta version of the Windows driver for systems with NDIS 6.3 (Windows 10, related Windows Server and newer Windows versions). As it is not yet officially signed, Windows has to be set into test mode and secure-boot has to be turned off. This process is described below. Known Issues ------------------------ SFP Copper Module related issue: Connection state is not detected/updated correctly sometimes. In this case, plug the SFP module out and plug it in again. Supported Cards ------------------------ syn1588 PCIe NIC Rev2.3 To Activate Test Mode --------------------------- 1.Open a Windows command prompt window as admin. 2.call >bcdedit /set testsigning on 3.you can see if testsigning is on by calling >bcdedit ! After activating the test mode, you have to restart the PC. Alternative Method ---------------------------- You can also turn off driver signing enforcement from windows advance start screen. 1.Hold down the Shift key while choosing the “Restart” option in Windows. Your computer will restart with Advanced Options. 2.From the list of options displayed, select the “Troubleshoot” tile. 3.Next, select “Advanced options” and hit the “Startup Settings” tile. 4.Next, select the “Restart” button to restart your PC on the Startup Settings screen. 5.From Startup Settings page choose “Disable driver signature enforcement" To Deactivate Secure-Boot ------------------------------ The following description depends on the BIOS of your PC and may differ slightly: 1.Restart the computer and go in to BIOS Menu 2.Under "Security" or "Boot Options" menu look for secure boot. 3.Turn off secure boot. 4.Save and exit
