Oregano Systems wins the IEEE Best Paper Award 2025 at ISPCS in Ottawa

We are proud to announce that Oregano Systems has received the IEEE Best Paper Award 2025 at the International IEEE Symposium on Precision Clock Synchronization for Measurement, Control, and Communication (ISPCS), held in Ottawa, Canada.

The award was presented to Roland Höller, Sani Sarcevic, and Nikolaus Kerö for their outstanding paper titled “Comparative Analysis of High-Resolution Phase Measurement Principles for Picosecond Clock Synchronization.”

This recognition honors the team’s excellent research and innovation in the field of high-precision timing and synchronization technologies, a core area of expertise at Oregano Systems. The paper provides a detailed comparison of advanced phase measurement principles, demonstrating new approaches to achieving picosecond-level clock synchronization performance.

“This award makes us very proud and highlights the excellence, dedication, and teamwork of our engineers,” says Alexander Wingelhofer, General Manager of Oregano Systems. “It also reflects the valuable collaboration and strong support from our colleagues at Meinberg, which enable us to continuously innovate and advance synchronization technology.”

Oregano Systems, a Meinberg company, continues to lead research and development in IEEE 1588 Precision Time Protocol (PTP) and related synchronization technologies. This award underlines our long-standing commitment to scientific excellence and innovation in the field of precise time and frequency systems.

Congratulations once again to Roland Höller, Sani Sarcevic, and Nikolaus Kerö on this outstanding achievement!
