Caution: syn1588® Driver and Windows 10

Due to a change in driver signing policy, Microsoft’s Windows 10 installations version 1607 or higher will not load any driver that are not signed by Microsoft’s Dev Portal. Windows 10 installations that were upgraded from a version earlier than 1607 are unaffected by this change in policy.

As the Oregano Systems syn1588® driver software has not yet gone through this new process of being signed by Microsoft, new Windows 10 installations will be unable to install the syn1588® driver properly. As a workaround, the secureboot option can be disabled to allow for the syn1588® driver to be installed.

We are working to getting a Microsoft signed syn1588® driver software as soon as possible.
